For June, Sevgi has selected four wines that celebrate freshness, sunshine and effortless food pairing, taking us on a journey through some of Europe's most exciting wine regions. From sparkling Spanish classics to characterful Portuguese reds, this collection is designed for long evenings, shared tables and discovering new favourites.
The selection begins with CodornĂu Clásico Brut Cava, a vibrant traditional-method sparkling wine from Catalonia. Crisp, lively and packed with citrus and orchard fruit character, it is the perfect aperitif and a reminder of why Cava remains one of the wine world's great-value sparkling styles.
From southern Italy comes La Guardiense Janare Falanghina del Sannio, showcasing one of Campania's most exciting indigenous grape varieties. Bright and aromatic, with notes of citrus, white flowers and stone fruit, it offers freshness and versatility in equal measure, making it a natural companion to seafood and Mediterranean cuisine.
